Etching Rotogravure

etching Process
Rotogravure Process Continuing on the topic before, after the cylindrical tube in afdruct. Lift and move the cylindrical tube on the room lighting. Clean the cylindrical tube that has been in afdruk earlier.
Before watering, first, apply a cylindrical part that is not about the image of black mold with liquid asphalt. It is very important, because its function to prevent dirt rub off on the process of attachment earlier. so when watering later then the result is just the image we want only scratches arising form pores.
Once the cylindrical tube is greased / oiled liquid asphalt and dries, flush cylindrical tube that has formed a desired image by using ferrid chloride solution. Sprinkle evenly cylindrical tubes, copper tubes until they form / arise pores of the desired image. This process is also called Etching.
and this is the end of the Rotogravure process. And the cylindrical tube is ready for use, I hope this can help as an input for those who want to know the process of making plastic molding selinter, I admit there are many shortcomings in this paper. I hope that is understandable.

Process Rotogravure 3

In the Rotogravure section 3 of this process, After the cylindrical tube had completely coated copper layer, then the next is done sanding on each cylindrical tube which is newly coated copper. This was done so that the cylindrical surface to be flat and clean.

In the process of sanding / smoothing this an indispensable motor armature. The point is as a player tubes will be smoothed. do sanding the cylindrical, cylindrical tube which is sanded in a state of the tube continues to rotate, so that the resulting tube is really uneven. Keep in mind,

Well, after the refinement stage, it is time to clean the cylindrical tube and perform the next stage. ie move the results of the desired image. In the Sablon, it is also called by the name Afdruct.

This process is greatly needed at once a special clean room. Because some dirt / dust will greatly affect the results

1. First, clean the tube as clean as possible

2 apply emulsion / TPR evenly on the tube

3. after completely dry, then do the attachment / transfer images from the media mica film as desired.

At this stage of this process, paste images that you use, check first, then do radiation with a gunshot fired lamp, irradiation time, the cylindrical should still spinning, so the lighting to be flat.

COPPER ROTOGRAVURE CLYINDER

It's time I try to connect the topic article yesterday about the Copper Rotogravure / Coating.
The equipment needed for the coating process of the iron coated copper tubes, among others.
- A transformer that serves as a shock that would attach the copper tube to be coated iron roll.

- Body made of materials resistant to chemicals and strong weight-bearing terandung water in it, so it will not happen to leak or rupture tub, while the tub filled with water on a lot of volume. Water reservoirs amounts to 2 (two). A second later the tub filled with water that has mixed several different chemicals between tub 1 and tub 2
The first tub has a size of approximately 1 meter long, 2.5 meters wide with a depth of approximately 50 to 60 cm. and for a second bath having the same size but different length, which is about 2.5 to 3 meters

- Materials Chemistry, an important function in this coating process.

- Dinamo motor serves to rotate the cylindrical tube to be coated copper

Immediately, I try to discuss this coating process

1. Fill water tank with water (Must use tap water) because if you use ground water, will be a negative impact on the outcome of copper.

In a tub, mix water with chemicals and POTASSIUM COPPER Cyanide
In the tub 2, mix water with chemicals and copper sulfate and acid sulfate / H2SO4
Stir until evenly distributed, so each tub with a flat dissolved. Please keep in mind. between tub 1 and tub 2 content should not be mixed although only slightly,

After mixing these chemicals, then put the tubes to be coated and which have been cleaned. first dip tubes in bath 1 (the first), in a matter of time. after that when benar2 evenly, move the tubes are immersed in the bath tub 1 to 2.
Now in this second bath is a chemical coating process occurs, in addition to water containing these chemicals, like these two that will be hung lempengan2 copper plate will be eroded by itself and will be attached to move against the tabung2 iron, we can see it on video I attach before. Remember, this is done by running the motor armature which rotates continue tabung2 and provide the resulting shock process is carried out until the transformer would benar2 iron copper tube has been coated with sufficient thickness and not too thin, copper process could take a long time , approximately between 6-7 hours, depending on the strength of shock produced by the transformer and the approximate thickness of the layers as desired.
and for that I will try to discuss it further at the next opportunity.

Rotogravure cylinder manufacturing process

On the chance this time, I try to describe the process of making cylindrical tubes rotogravure. Perhaps what I write and I lay still many shortcomings and lack of details of what I write this, given in the process of making this tube I do not really at it and just knew it. I hope that can be tolerated before.

1. TUBE cylindrical PRINT

In this case, the tube that will be in gravure must have a diameter corresponding to the length that would be conducted the piece in a plastic roll. It is very important, especially when color printing consists of more than 1 (one) color. Between the cylindrical one and so should be the same diameter, must not be less or more because it is very hamper.

first of all, puree the surface of the cylindrical tube, prior to immersion copper coating on the tubes. After completely flattened tube is then ready to be copper / copper coating.

2. COPPER / coating

In this case, it takes some equipment needed to perform this process, as I will provide a video picture. and henceforth I will discuss at another occasion.

About Rotogravure Technique

Rotogravure is a printing technique in the world. Rotogravure alone in the world of print in the graphic means. Or in layman's language is commonly used printing technology to print media made of a flexible material (for example, various types of plastic, aluminum and paper and PVC). Materials to be printed is in the form of rollers or rolls. The results of the indirect rotogravure printing can be enjoyed by consumers, but must go through several stages, as follows (eg manufacture of snack food packaging children);
Plastic laminated printout beforehand by placing rollers that have been printed onto the laminate machine, then the plastic rollers are coated with an adhesive and attached to other media in the form of "metalize" (a mixture of plastic material which is coated with aluminum). The results that have been laminated rolls and then dried first.Rollers that have been dried and then taken to the machine "slitter", to cut the roll length and width of a certain size in accordance with orders from manufacturers of these snacks. In the process of printing, the print media (usually called the film), printing inks and printing cylinder was the one who plays an important role. To print cylinders are usually made of thick iron pipe with a diameter of 6 to 9mm adapted to design drawings. The number of print cylinders that are used during the printing process depends on the number of colors in the image desired. So for example we will print a picture of a car consisting of 5 colors, the print cylinder must be made 5 pieces.
The process of making the print cylinder is quite complicated, the first iron pipe must be in Machining first approached the desired size, then coated with copper or also called Copper. After the copper plating process, the desired new image created using a special machine (known as engraving machines). Image is created by attaching a picture that has been made with mica film on copper tubes that already given emulsion and through several more stages, so that the image contained in the mica film moves on to the media tube / cylinder. Once the images are formed then the iron pipe will be coated again with the chrome that are not easily oxidized and are more resistant to wear and tear.

The above process only a brief course, behind it there are very many in the world of technology used to produce a packaging rotogravure. Starting from the design, manufacture cylindrical tube of iron, copper plating, the manufacture of iron cylinder above picture that has been coated copper, chrome plating, printing, inspection, lamination, slitting (cutting), the manufacture of bags (if that orders sent form the bag) and many more processes in it.
Because in the process changing the form of raw material into finished materials, usually this process is called process of "converting" or in other words, is "converting industry"
As for some everyday examples of converting the results are as follows: 1. 2 packs of instant noodle. Packaging of drugs (other than the capsule and syrup as well as eye drops) 3. Packaged snacks 4. Water bottle label bottled mineral water and isotonic (called shrink label) 5. Close drinks mineral water, etc. (cup lid) 6. And the like
Rotogravure can also be used to produce magazines, folding box, gift wrapp and beverage labels with special equipment that can be done in line. Excess rotogravure printing process compared to the other is that it can be used to print in a roll with a width ranging from 20 cm (labeling) to 1100 cm (vinyl floor) with a length of more than 5000 mtr depending on the material used. Likewise, the type of material used varies greatly, ranging from plastic film up to 12mc 320 gsm cardboard. While the weakness of the rotogravure is, not as sharp image quality offset and text formed from the composition of the dot.
